Los Vendidos: Farm Workers' Views Los Vendidos, the film that we saw was performed by El Teatro Campesino, the ranch laborers theater. The film was made to show the perspectives and thoughts of the homestead laborers, who were simply ordinary individuals who needed to be heard. They were not phenomenal, uncommon, exceptionally talented and paid entertainers. They were simply ordinary people who needed what every other person needed: uniformity. The idea of Los Vendidos was, as I would like to think, straightforward. The film was an ironical view at how that Anglo-Americans decided to see the Mexican-Americans, Spanish-Americans, Latinos, Hispanos, and so forth. It was utilized to actuate discussion.
